If you have read any of the story that I have told on this website, you will know that I find it difficult to say just a few words.
So here are a few words about designing this website and the Professional who is the designer.
Yiti Pilchick from Beitar has done an excellent job.
She helped me, a computer user since the IBM System 32 and 34 were in offices and there when the Compact was introduced, but I have always been a user, not a designer.
The first thing she did was get my mailing list into an email marketing program so that I could do mass communication, without limiting 500 gmails in a 24-hour period. I had looked at doing this for about 8 years and never had the patience to actually set it up. I am still learning all the program Klayvio can do, but I have started to add some pizzazz to my emails.
Building the store around Shopify, Yiti has taken the products and the various texts that I have given her and presented them in a logical and visually pleasing format.
Who thought that was possible with a product that is just flour and water?
If it was just a Shopify store with a listing of products, we could have opened a few days after we started. However, Yiti felt that ‘the story’ is important and each chapter I wrote lead to more. Amazing how much one can learn about ‘flour and water’ having sold it for now our 11th year.
